5. Transparency on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
In accordance with Italian and European AI regulations (Italian Law 132/2025 and EU Regulation 2024/1689, the "AI Act", fully applicable as of 2 August 2026), we inform you that ORME may use artificial intelligence tools to support text content creation, translations, and business operations, always under human supervision and editorial review. The photographs and videos on this site depict real places, vehicles, and people: we do not publish synthetic images or content generated or manipulated by AI. The site does not employ AI systems that interact with users, nor automated decision-making processes producing effects on them.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Bike rental and experience/tour bookings made remotely (WhatsApp, email) or off-premises fall under services related to leisure activities with a specific date or period of performance: under Art. 59(n) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), implementing Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does NOT apply to these bookings. Any cancellation or rescheduling terms stated in the booking confirmation, or the bad-weather policy described in the Contact page FAQ, remain valid.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the exclusive competent forum is the consumer's place of residence or domicile, under Art. 33(2)(u) of the Italian Consumer Code.
8. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, under Regulation (EU) No. 524/2013. You can also contact us directly at carlo@ormebikexperience.com.
